VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION FOR THE 2013 MONTREAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Dear Volunteer,

The city of Montreal is proud to again play host to the only PGA Champions Tour tournament in Canada. Due in large part to the efforts put forth by our team of devoted volunteers; the Montreal Championship was voted as the 2012 Fan Favorite tournament on the PGA Champions Tour.

The 2013 Montreal Championship will be conducted September 2 to 8 on the spectacular Rouville course at the prestigious La Vallée du Richelieu Golf Club in Sainte-Julie, Quebec.

Volunteer applications are currently being accepted. Priority for assignments will be given to those volunteers who worked the 2012 Montreal Championship, provided your application is received by February 15, 2013.

No less than 750 volunteers are required in a variety of committees, assignments and positions. The enormous effort put forth by volunteers will allow the Montreal Championship to again donate proceeds to our respective charitable partners, while at the same time providing a fun and exciting experience for each volunteer.

The Champions Tour is the home of golf’s legendary stars and is the most accessible and fan-friendly of all the major professional sports, featuring thrilling performance and competition among golf’s greatest players - such as Fred Couples, Tom Lehman, John Cook, Mark Calcavecchia and Corey Pavin to name a few.

Again, thank you very much for joining our Championship team. Together, we will contribute to the unconditional success of the Montreal Championship and allow the city, province and country to shine across the world.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

IMPORTANT

1. Volunteers must commit for a minimum of 3 days during Championship week. Shift lengths vary (at least 6 hours per shift) between committees. Certain committees will have a specific mandatory training session prior to Championship Week.

2. Kindly indicate your first two (2) preferences of committee assignment on the Volunteer Application. The Montreal Championship will assign committees based on volunteer’s request and tournament requirements. All volunteers will be notified, in due course, of their acceptance and to which committee they have been assigned.

3. All committees will hold a mandatory orientation session on Saturday, August 24th between 8am-11:00am. Volunteer Hospitality Package will be distributed on this date. Your committee chair will provide you with the location. Uniforms may not be picked up prior to this date. If you are unable to attend a distribution session, please contact your committee director.

VOLUNTEER HOSPITALITY PACKAGE

JUNIOR & STUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES (FREE)

Junior (13-18 years of age) and Student (19-21 years of age) volunteer positions are also available for the 2012 Montreal Championship. There is no Volunteer/Uniform Fee for Junior Volunteers and Student Volunteers
